I’m a conservation planner and environmental consultant creating solutions to the grand challenges of our time: climate change and (bio)diversity loss. I like to think of my work as integrating change between people, systems, and nature. Professionally, I have applied this intersectional expertise in numerous contexts, including NGOs, governments, academic institutions, and international corporations.
Here’s a few things to know about me:
• Avid outdoorsman and nature lover
• Believer in community and in the importance of place
• Hikes + bikes + trails + accessibility + active + transport
I grew up mildly feral on our family farm in the Irish Hills of southern Michigan with summers based at an off-grid camp on the forested shores of a lake in northern Ontario. My love of nature was infused from a young age through countless hours exploring, playing, and working our forested farmland. I moved away to the urban jungle of St. Louis, Missouri and earned a BS in environmental science, followed by a MS in geographic systems from Eastern Michigan University. Combine my education with stretches living & working abroad, and I’d suggest that I offer a uniquely holistic and strategic perspective.
I’m based in the Irish Hills area of southern Michigan with my wife and pups. Anyways, enough about me… how about you? Reach out today and let’s partner up on something cool!
